Reasons Why I will Vote Mayor DUTERTE

13173744_1705642232993925_946198112741402241_n2016 PH Election is coming…and there are a lot of dirty tactics happening now. Why? Because they (different camps) know that Mayor Rody “Digong” Roa Duterte is leading and winning the Filipinos’ hearts (including me).

And I would like to voice out why I will vote for Mayor Duterte. I will also mention and answer the controversies that they are accusing against our “Tatay Digong”.(yes, most of us call him that)

  1. He PROTECTS WOMEN.         Mayor Duterte is the first man who submitted Women Development Code in Davao City. Its objective is to protect and prioritize women’s rights. All women has a free access to reproductive health and wellness center and breastfeeding room in government offices. Even in jails, they have a breastfeeding room for prisoners who are mothers (Maa City Jail). Moreover, they prohibit wearing swimsuits in pageants to prevent objectifying women or exploitation. And during night time, it is safe to walk in the streets of Davao because they have high tech gadgets (such as cctv in streets, etc…). This is to ensure that no women (or even men/children) will be harassed or raped. And then they will tell that Mayor is a Misogynist? That is absurd. A lot of women protested against Duterte…but they blocked the road which is contradicting to what they are fighting for. NOT ALL WOMEN HATE DUTERTE.
  2. He is NOT CORRUPT.              Looking at his lifestyle, his clothes are simple (he doesn’t even wear his campaign shirt). His house and vehicle is not luxurious. He keeps a humble lifestyle. Too bad Trillanes, he is just killing himself by throwing false accusations or “kwentong barbero” for accusing a NON-EXISTENT 200+M in Mayor’s bank account. He is also telling that he wasn’t able to receive a waiver from Duterte, when in fact, he was given an SPA and a waiver signed by Duterte.”Naubusan lang ng copy, ayaw na magpa-photocopy”. And then he is now telling the media that there are 11,000 ghost employees under Tatay Digong? It’s a lazy move.
  3. Receives 4th SAFEST CITY IN THE WORLD.        And a lot of awards, but he refuses to accept it. He claims that he is only doing his job. Go to Davao city. Talk to Davaoenos. They will say good things about the city. Even Sec. Mar Roxas awarded Mayor for maintaining a great city. But he’s (Mar Roxas) now denying it because they are opponents.
  4. He Loves the Philippines and the Filipinos.       I really hated Mayor Duterte before. In fact, I was terrified in him because I’ve hearing rumors that he will declare Martial Law. So I made a research about him if it is possible. And after few months of studying his background, I was impressed with his credentials and his spirit for the goodness of our country. Too bad (for them) that the mainstream media only led me to love Duterte more! He can never declare Martial Law because majority of the people follow the rules when he leads (not command). Only rebellion will make him declare Martial Law, but it is impossible. Look at his campaign rallies, jam packed! People believes in him even if he is not yet the president. He is a well-respected man because he also respects others.
  5. His CHARACTER as a public servant makes him a great leader loved by the PEOPLE.      Aside from him being a low profile politician, his Bravery is an inspiration to the citizens. You know, a lot of people (including the anti-Duterte) has been branded him a lot of negative things…that he is not a good example to the Youth, he always swear, and so on…If following the law is not a good example to the Youth, then why do people still support him? Why does the youth love him? (count me in! I’m still part of the youth) If we only focus his so-called gutter language and his infidelity to his wives (which is by the way, out of his responsibility as a Politician), then, you are missing his great Leadership Character.
  6. DUTERTE IS NOT A LAZY CHOICE.         If I want a lazy choice, then I’ll just vote for Roxas or Grace Poe. If I’m lazy, then “di nalang sana ako bumoto”, di pa ako mapapagod sa pila. Di nalang sana ako nag-register after 8 years na di ako bumoto. Di nalang sana ako nagresearch tungkol kay Duterte para di ko nalaman ang credentials niya, instead iba siguro ang iboboto ko. Remember, I hated Duterte before. And now, I am enlightened with his leadership. Therefore, Duterte is NOT or NEVER a LAZY CHOICE.
  7. Voting Duterte is NOT A PROTEST VOTE. Our vote is for him because we believe in his skills, his character as a leader, and his achievements as a politician. It is true, that most of the Filipinos are now desperate of change. We are tired of the drastic rise of poverty in the Philippines. It seems like nothing is happening to the country despite of charges of taxes to the Filipinos. And with that issue, I believe that the only candidate who can change it is Mayor Duterte. He may not achieve the 3-6months crime suppression, as long as he catches the BIG Fishes or Crocodiles (who corrupts and tolerates crimes) inside the government. I just pray that no harm will be put to our Mayor (and to his supporters/same with other candidates’ supporters), because I am 100%sure that there are a lot of assassins surrounding him now until he becomes the president. Offer them 100M or more, they would probably do their job to kill him. Let’s all wish for safe election and post election for the country.
  8. MAN OF INTEGRITY. Integrity means “The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.” That’s why from the very beginning, he confesses what’s not good about him. But gladly, the people still support him despite of his imperfections. I’m just saddened because his imperfections are being used against him. Just give him a second of Privacy! I just wanted to add the credit that he volunteered to be a hostage in exchange of the freedom of a 3month old infant. How can such a man offered his life for that? He is not a messiah nor Jesus. He is just an ordinary man who’s doing his job as a public servant.
  9. His spirit is giving US HOPE.  I used to be a human rights activist. I won’t mention any grps, but I participate with events related to human rights for years. In fact, I became a council member of a certain group. I lay low because I want to focus with my family right now. But I care about the country. I still felt that I am not really doing the right thing. So I dwell on what’s going on again…and then I was led to researching about Mayor Duterte. Who’s this man who had an audacity to claim safety to the people, blah blah blah…? I really really dislike him before. In fact, My husband and I always argue about this before because he’s a pro Duterte. I even had an impression that as if he worships Duterte. I don’t want to hear or see him (Duterte) in my FB Feeds. But when I was able to watch him for the first time in PH Debates (because I want to see Sen.Miriam), I started to research about him. I am so overwhelmed with his spirit! Take note: He never planned to run for presidency, but because people wants him to lead and because he loves the country so much, he took the chance EVEN WITHOUT THE FUNDS. So a lot of people contributed for his campaigns, and the endorsers were not paid by the Mayor. So now, he is leading the surveys.
  10. He never BOASTS himself to the Public. He has a lot of achievements but he never puts his name on the projects, instead, he offers it to the people.  He never pushes himself to the people or something to that effect. He believes that all of the candidates are credible but most of us believes that he is the one. He may not be deserving (in the eyes of the non-dutertes), but I believe that God is giving him a great favor to lead the country. Because of HIM through Mayor Duterte, people are being united gradually. It is a great miracle that a man without a mahinery (campaign funds) could lead the people and compete with the giants. It is a great proof that he is loved by a lot of people. People donate campaign materials and volunteers without getting paid. I am also part of that. I am not paid to endorse him.
  11. He is not the KILLER that you used to think. This is the last one. He may told the public that he killed a lot of people but he is talking about the criminals. Also, I would like to ask, if he kills people, why don’t they file a case against him even before the campaign started? If they already know about it before, why just now??? There are also a lot of dead innocent under Duterte’s orders, but may I ask again, how about the victims of Yolanda? People dying during typhoons? The soldiers who died in Mamasapano Clash? The repetition of Tanim Bala inside MIA (Manila International Airport, I won’t address it as NAIA anymore)? The officials behind the administration should be accountable for that. And with those incidents, they are not doing anything. Isn’t that also killing people?  Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, psychologically (and so on)…that’s a lot of issues compared to the accusations against the Mayor.

There are a lot of things that I wanted to say but I just want to end it here because I want to hear your thoughts as well. One last thing that I wanted to say, the change starts from within. If Duterte wins but we are not following the rules, then the change that we want is pointless. Let’s all be a good citizen to our nation so that the change can still be possible, with or without Tatay Digong! 🙂  Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino!

Digestive cleansing, the natural way!

When diet is wrong, medicine is no use. When diet is correct, medicine no need. -Ayurvedic Proverb

This is now my stand when it comes to wellness. When we are sick, we need nutrition, not antibiotics. When we are ill, it only means that our immune system is low, so we need enough nutrition to prevent the sickness. This is what I learned from my naturopathic doctor, Dra Christine Gonzalez, NMD, PhD. She’s also a missionary doctor and an activist for a wellness lifestyle. I’m so grateful that I met someone like her.

Speaking of wellness, I just arrived from an overnight CDC (Complete Digestive Cleansing) treatment with my husband. Some may call it detox, flushing method, and so on…this is a program that Dra. Christine created to her patients [most of her patients are cancer victors by the way!].

Let me share you my journey to this cleansing, and how important it is for everyone.

What happens in this treatment? From the word itself, this method will cleanse your entire digestive system (including your fatty liver, kidney, colon, intestines, etc…) and remove your gallstones, the natural way! You heard it right, it is possible to remove gallstones without needles or any surgeries. In my opinion, this is better than laparoscopy (also, cheaper than those said methods)!

In this method, you’ll experience to take a lot of special formulated drinks, eat fruits and vegetables, and flush (poo) a lot! In between hrs, they will also monitor your blood pressure and weight. This is an overnight treatment so sit back, relax, and flush it out!

Day 1. 8am

IMG_20160303_080813.jpg
Arriving at the place. Just a little walk from the main road

We arrived at the location and they served a yummy, healthy breakfast. A bowl of sliced papayas and mangoes, and a small bowl of quinoa with coco milk, chia seeds, and raisins. Plus a lot of tarragon and calIMG_20160303_081602.jpgamansi water.

I feel so healthy that moment! Heavenly!

IMG_20160303_081257.jpg

After that, the nurse assisted us to check in to our room and rest for few hours. One of the doctors visited us and gave a little orientation about what will happen to the program.

Between 10am-2pm, we are transitioning to fast. They serve plenty of pumpkin soup (which is really delicious with full of flavors), mixed beans soup, carrot juice, and a lot of water for hydration. I didn’t feel that we are under the treatment because of the mouthwatering food that they serve. I just felt that I am having a date with my husband in a nice hotel with a great scenery of Tagaytay. lol

Soup again, with infused tarragon and calamansi water

And the fasting has started. From 2pm-6pm, they let us rest and serve nothing even water. Since we were still full from what we took, we slept within those hours.

At 6pm, they served a glass of red juice and 2 slices apples as a chaser because it tastes weird. It smells like soil with some weird herbs that is not so pleasant to your nose, but it tastes not really bad. You can still bear to drink it. We just think it’s a “cranberry juice”.

IMG_20160303_180355.jpg
the mystery juice

After few mins, my stomach is rumbling and I feel like going to the toilet. Good thing is, there’s no pain on it. It will just let it goooo, let it gooo! Can’t hold it back anymore [did you just sang the song? lol]. The result was like there’s a running water behind me, flowing like a river. It was totally water and small fibers floating. I believe those are the dirt from our colon, intestines, and so on…

It was intense, but not so smelly. You might consider to stay or sleep inside the toilet because whenever you move a little, it will just go out. In fact, I made a little game for us, to keep us pooing. I wrote a score sheet on the mirror and write our names on it. Whenever we poo, we get 1 point. Guess who the winner is? Of course, me! lol

8pm. We drank that juice again…and it went on again.

10pm. Hoo! I feel bloated and sleepy already. They served a new drink, this time, it gets bigger (I wasn’t able to take a photo of it). Maybe twice of the size of the red juice. They shake it very well and then instructed us to drink it “straight” while standing. I breathe heavily, thinking of the taste of the red juice. Hooray! It tastes great! It was just calamansi and olive oil [or another ingredients]. There’s a nice sweet aftertaste. After drinking, it is important that we lie flat on the bed (with no pillows) for 30mins. That way, the substance of what we drank will penetrate the dirts of our body and flow down smoothly when its time to flush(poo). It also makes the gallstones shatter, if you have a bigger one. Then, the nurse gave us a big strainer to filter the stones when we flushed it.

After 30mins+ (because we extended a bit for more effectivity), it’s time to go to sleep. All was on my mind was to drink a glass of water. I got thirsty but we can’t take anything yet, so I just laid on the bed and have a nice sleep. zzzzzz

Day 2. Goodmorning! It’s 6am and it’s time for red juice again! Oh noes! lol

IMG_20160303_180406.jpg
mystery “cranberry” juice

I’m telling you, the knifes and needles are much scarier than this drink. You’ll love the effect of it. You’ll feel refreshed and clean!

(For educational purposes only. Sorry, it’s really gross to imagine or look at this but you can skip this part if you want. :P),

After taking the 4th drink, I felt the need of toilet so I get my strainer and put it on the bowl (it’s as big as the hole of toilet bowl). I was surprised with the result! It was all green and 2 black stones  (size of a grain of rice). It means that I’m healthy!

gall stones bw.jpg
Harvested gall stones and fats

Then my husband had his own moment of toilet…when he went out, he told me that he harvested a lot. When I looked at it and it was really a lot of stones! Not just 1 or 2, it was more than 5 big stones (size of a regular button) and countless small ones. All in different colors: black, green, combinations…at that moment I realized that taking this treatment is really a great decision for us especially to his condition. If he didn’t take the program immediately, he might get cancer or even worse. To make the long story short, his harvest was 1/4-1/2 of the strainer. It was really many.

The clock ticks at 8am, hooray for the 5th and final red drink! And guess what will happens next…we can get to drink water!!! So after drinking, series of flushing again, and so on…then they served carrot juices to start our engine right. At 11am, we felt sleepy but our insides are cleansed. I felt like a new born child! It’s done!

IMG_20160304_081101.jpg
Getting some vitamin D

So before we leave, the doctor advised us to have another session for my husband’s complete recovery. There will be series of natural programs and good eating habits are one of that. It is important to stay away from animal meat (such as chicken, pork, and other injected foods like gmo products) and eat only local fruits and veggies (which I really love). She’s telling us that we are so blessed that we have abundance of non-gmo fruits and vegetables in the Philippines. GMO means Genetically Modified Organisms. I will talk more about GMO [and it’s damage to our body] on my next post.

So anyway, it is lunch time and I was craving for sinigang. Lucky me, they served us an all natural fish sinigang and red rice for lunch! I really really love how they cooked it, the fish is so tender (normally, I can only eat 1/4 of fish during meals…this time, I ate it all!), the camote tops complements the rice and soup. It is full of ginger and I really can’t get over with it.

IMG_20160304_120122.jpg

After we eat, we packed up and had a last blow. I thought it was finished, but I released 3-4 green bigger stones (1 is like an inch size). Good thing, I was able to released it there because our travel period takes 3-4hrs. We left at 1pm because we hang out a bit and took pictures of the place.

(Apologies for the bad photography)

going home

So there you go, that was our first experience with CDC program. Our next treatment will be Lymphatic Drainage.

For those of you who are in the same situation, I highly recommend a non-surgery method because it is safer and there’s no need for recovery period unlike with the ones who requires stitches. And it’s painless!

On the following posts, I will share what I know about GMO and our experience in Lymphatic Drainage. See you on the next post!

While Reformatting the Blogsite

Hey guys! I’ve been absent for more than a year. And will be back again for more improved blog site.

From now on, my posts will focus more about business, cosplay, fitness, and wellness! But of course, you may expect alien posts from here, writing about anything under the sun.

While waiting for my comeback, I would like to share one of my cosplay project videos that I produced.

Anyone familiar with the anime KILL LA KILL? I’m a huge fan of that series! This what happens when you’re so in love with something, you end up producing a fan version of it. lol

There are a lot of improvements to make here but I will do my best to perfect the storyline (because I’m planning to have part 2 and 3 of this).

Special thanks to everyone who helped us in making this possible [from the director, production assistants, set design consultants, and cosplayers]!

So, enjoy and leave your comments here. Thank you! 🙂

Building My Website

So hello again! I was not active for the past few months so yeah, I’m back. 🙂 I am currently making my website. This website is actually the fruit of our Youtube channel “Mychannelnow”. So if you haven’t seen it yet, check it out.

We are still planning what will be its niche so please bear with us. But just to give an idea, this website will serve as arts and entertainment hub, but in a virtual dimension. The design is not yet done, but if you can help us in sharing some inspirations (you can comment your existing websites here too), it’ll be cool. Thanks for dropping by and we’ll see you on the next post! 🙂

Shakey’s accepts Paypal

ImageImageLast Sunday was a craving day. I was thinking about pizza but my problem is, my money was still on my Paypal account. So I searched for online food deliveries which accepts paypal as a payment method. It was also my first time to order food using Paypal.

So my cursor landed on Shakey’s. I was searching for other food deliveries for future needs but it seems like they are the only one who accommodates it in our location (Laguna, Philippines). If you guys know online food delivery which accepts Paypal, I’ll be happy to know.

Anyway, I would like to share my experience on ordering Shakey’s. Their website is user-friendly. I was able to order without any confusion. Plus, it drives me to order when I see their menu photos. By the way, I tried to use my mobile when ordering. Just like the other food deliveries, you have to follow the steps like placing your orders, location, contact details, to deliver your order. Then after ordering, they will email or call you to confirm the orders. I received their email in less than 10mins. It was really fast. They sent me my tracking id, and a message confirming that they received my request. They told me to wait for a call. So I waited for them. Almost half an hour has passed and there’s no call. So I emailed again. Shakey’s agent replied that my phone was unreachable but they confirmed that my order will be delivered within 45mins. So I checked my mobile to see if there’s anything wrong. Bloopers! My mobile was on airplane mode. I guess my daughter accidentally switched it on. Lol.

After few minutes, hooray! My order arrived. It would have been faster if my mobile has not in the plane mode.

Thank you Shakey’s for delivering my pizzas! It was really convenient to pay online! I hope that there are more online enterprise that delivers for less than an hour.

Try it for yourselves! Order Shakey’s using Paypal. 🙂

New Chapter of Life

It’s been a long time since I wrote here…well, good thing is, I’m back again!

2013 was really a tough year for us as a new family and new married couple. We encountered rocky roads, great challenges in life and it is too many to mention those hardships that we experience. I say that a married life is either heaven or hell on Earth. lol.

But despite of those challenges and problems, we held on to each other.

As we enter the new chapter of our life, we celebrated at the rooftop. Swimming on a kid’s pool windy late afternoon. A very colorful afternoon reminds me of my childhood. This is far better than a five star resort. Priceless. Simple yet full of happiness and Grace. 🙂Image
